Mallorie A. Thomas
Mallorie Thomas is an Associate in the firm’s Miami office, where she represents individual and corporate clients in complex commercial litigation, international judgment enforcement, asset recovery, and white-collar criminal matters. She has extensive experience with government enforcement agencies and has assisted clients in successfully resolving enforcement actions initiated by the Department of Health, Department of Labor, the Florida Office of the Attorney General, and other local and state agencies. Earlier in her career, Mallorie practiced in the business law and tax group of a boutique, where she worked on mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and complex tax matters.
As an evening student at Rutgers Law School-Newark, Mallorie worked full-time, dedicating her career to the public sector. At the New York County District Attorney’s Office, she helped oversee the Criminal Justice Investment Initiative, which aimed to improve public safety, develop broad crime prevention efforts, and promote a fair, efficient justice system in New York City. Mallorie also worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey, in the Cyber Crimes Unit, where she was a member of the trial team for United States v. Hernandez-Zozaya and United States v. Minaya.
While at Rutgers Law School, Mallorie served as a Senior Editor of the Rutgers Business Law Journal and participated in the Rutgers Entrepreneurship Clinic where she provided comprehensive legal support to local nonprofits and start-ups.
In her spare time, Mallorie enjoys playing tennis, snorkeling in Summerland Key, and exploring local Miami cuisine. Mallorie is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the New Jersey Hispanic Bar Association.
