Shani King is the managing partner of the firm’s New York office. He has been a law professor since 2007, when he joined the faculty at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. After 15 years at the University of Florida, Shani joined the law faculty at Rutgers Law School in 2022. Shani has taught ethics for sixteen years, international human rights law, and cross-border litigation.
Before becoming a law professor, Shani practiced white-collar criminal defense and securities litigation in New York City for a large corporate law firm and later for a small white-collar boutique. Shani has extensive experience in criminal and civil matters, federal and state administrative proceedings, and appellate proceedings.
In his spare time, Shani likes to travel, read, run marathons, and write children’s books.
